Colorizing Studio
How can I prepare for my color analysis session?
We kindly request that you arrive without makeup. If you wear contact lenses, please opt for clear lenses rather than tinted ones. If you wear glasses, we may ask you to briefly remove them during the session for draping purposes, but you'll have the opportunity to put them back on to see clearly. To ensure comfortable draping, please refrain from wearing hoodies, turtlenecks, or tightly collared shirts.
What kind of lighting do you use?
We aim to conduct sessions using natural daylight. If natural light is not available, we use artificial full-spectrum lighting with a color temperature between 5000-5500K and a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 90+ to ensure accurate color representation.
What are your qualifications?
I have earned a Certificate in Color Analysis Mastery from Karen Brunger, a respected authority and founder of the International Image Institute. During my in-person training, I performed precise color analyses on clients under Karen Brunger’s guidance and received excellent feedback.
If my skin tone has changed, can I still come to my session?
Your overtone (surface skin tone) may change due to factors like tanning, illness, diet, etc. However, your undertone (the underlying quality of your skin determined by the balance of skin pigments) generally remains consistent. Therefore, your analysis results from the session are designed to be accurate and relevant for life, regardless of changes in your overtone.
What color analysis system do you use?
I was trained in the Seasonal/Flow system - which is an expansion on the traditional 4-season system. This enhanced method introduces 'in-between' palettes, allowing for a more precise and customized color palette that respects the foundational principles of the traditional system while catering to individual uniqueness.
